Community Horticulture takes place in our polytunnel based just off Lark Lane. The project was created through funding and a partnership between St Michaels and Lark Lane Community Association (SMLLCA) and Lark Lane Housing Co-op.We have planted 100’s of wild flowering bulbs, wild flowers, trees and herbs, held butterfly surveys, put up bird and bat box’s and kept the site free of litter. Many passers-by and local residents have commented positively on the improvements made to the site. Hopefully with a little care the site will continue to flourish for years to come.
Last year we ran monthly Horticultural workshops for members of the local community in basic horticultural skills.
Monthly sessions are taking place on the last Sunday of the month 1-3pm.
