More young actors needed for Hidden In The Woods!

iActposterA5FRONTMONDAY_edited-1Young Actors Needed (11-18yrs)
Theatre on Foot are looking for a cast of young actors (aged 11-18 years old), of all abilities and backgrounds, to take on leading roles in the world premiere of our brand new play Hidden In The Woods, which is heavily inspired by the Hollywood movies E.T, Back to the Future, Jumanji, and The Goonies.
Set in the 1980s, Hidden in the Woods tells the story of a group of friends who stumble upon a mysterious board game, whilst camping in the woods. When one of the group disappears into the game, they set out on an epic journey through time – encountering Smugglers, Grave Robbers, and Highway Men, along the way – to bring their friend back to the year 2017.

In typical Theatre on Foot fashion, this adventurous family-friendly play, also loosely based on aspects of Liverpool’s hidden, horrible 800 year history will be performed on location throughout Woolton Woods, for a one off public performance in July 2017.

We now need a cast of young actors (male & female) to join our Youth Theatre group at the Lark Lane Community Centre, with lots, little, or no experience in acting/performing, to take on the main parts – from character roles such as Body Snatchers and Victorian Gang Members, to the lead roles of the friends.

To take part in this fantastic opportunity, and work alongside a professional director, workshop leader and brand new cast, for an exciting location based theatre company, get in touch for more information.

Rehearsals take place at the Lark Lane Community Centre, The Old Police Station, Lark Lane, Liverpool L17 8UU.

Mondays @ 6.15-7.45pm (follows school term timetable)

How much?
£7.00 per week

You must be between the ages of 11-18 years old to join the cast.

The final public performance will be shown in July 2017.

Co-op Local Community Fund – support us!

Choose Lark Lane Community Centre for the Co-op Local Community Fund!

web-bannerFor many years, we have run a Pre-school and toddler class at the Community Centre. The small subscription charges go some way to covering costs but in order to deliver the high level of service we know we are capable of, we need more funding. We have been lucky enough to have been selected to receive funding from the Co-op Local Community Fund. For the next 6 months, 1% of all Co-op own brand products and services bought by members will go to a local cause.

But we need your help!
The more support we get, the more funding we could receive. This funding will be crucial in updating and improving equipment for the children in our groups, as well as benefiting our other community classes and services.

Getting involved is easy. If you’re not already a Co-op member, go to, pay £1 to join and choose SLLMCA to help us get as much funding as possible. And if you are already a member, simply log into your account and choose us as your preferred local cause. Over £10,000 has been raised for local causes already – just imagine how much difference your support could make. So next time you pick up a pint of milk at the Co-op, you can feel good about supporting your local community.
