The very popular Lark Lane Pottery classes, located in the old cells at the Old Police Station (Lark Lane Community Centre) now has a booking system! This should make it easier to book a class in advance and avoid disappointment due to high demand.
The booking system is managed through a separate website: Lark Lane Pottery. Please click here to visit the website for more information on what’s involved and to book a class (this will direct you to the external website).
John Parker is also now assisted by John Ayling to run the classes.
The fee is £12 per 2-hour session. You can ‘pay as you go’.
The price charged for finished ware is 25p per item plus £1 per pound in weight.
Class Times are as follows (Beginners classes are in bold type):
Wednesday 10am – 12pm and 1-3pm
Saturday 12-2pm and 3-5pm
You can contact John Parker on 07817 976 422 to find out more, and visit the Lark Lane Pottery facebook page.
In typical Theatre on Foot fashion, this adventurous family-friendly play, also loosely based on aspects of Liverpool’s hidden, horrible 800 year history will be performed on location throughout Woolton Woods, for a one off public performance in July 2017.
We now need a cast of young actors (male & female) to join our Youth Theatre group at the Lark Lane Community Centre, with lots, little, or no experience in acting/performing, to take on the main parts – from character roles such as Body Snatchers and Victorian Gang Members, to the lead roles of the friends.
To take part in this fantastic opportunity, and work alongside a professional director, workshop leader and brand new cast, for an exciting location based theatre company, get in touch for more information.
Rehearsals take place at the Lark Lane Community Centre, The Old Police Station, Lark Lane, Liverpool L17 8UU.
Mondays @ 6.15-7.45pm (follows school term timetable)
£7.00 per week
You must be between the ages of 11-18 years old to join the cast.
The final public performance will be shown in July 2017.
